Cllr Colin Wiles

I grew up in Ramsgate and worked for 45 years for local authorities and housing associations. Between 2010 and 2023 I was a freelance affordable housing consultant , working for dozens of clients and specialising in research, governance and policy. I bought a flat in Sandwich in 2005 and moved here permanently in 2017. I am a trustee and volunteer at Gazen Salts Nature Reserve, a volunteer in St Peter's Church gardens and a Curfew Bell ringer. I would like to see the Town Council develop into a sound and well-run local authority, making best use of its assets and resources.
