Sandwich Town Council at the Heart of the Community
Sandwich Town Council has a Town Mayor and 15 Councillors. All Councillors are elected by the people of Sandwich in a single election, held every four years. The most recent election was in May 2015.
The everyday management of the Council is undertaken by the Town Clerk and a team of officers and staff.
The County authority for Sandwich is Kent County Council and the District authority is Dover District Council.
Sandwich Town Council deals with community infrastructure, grants, noticeboards, community services, and comments on planning matters.
The Town Council office is located in the Guildhall and is open: Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm
Friday 9am to 4.30pm.
